During the 2009 Parade of Homes, Piedmont Realty & Construction won 5 awards for their 3 model homes that were entered. The Riverton model at Old Trail won Best Kitchen, Best Exterior, and Best Overall. The Maybeck model at Spring Creek won Best Exterior and Best Overall!

Piedmont Realty & Construction is pleased to announce the hiring of Greg Slater of Real Estate III as their exclusive listing agent in all of their Albemarle County neighborhoods. “Greg has an excellent reputation in the real estate community and is a terrific addition to the Piedmont Sales Team.
We are very fortunate to add Greg’s knowledge to our highly experienced management team,” says Piedmont Realty & Construction’s Owner, Drew Holzwarth. Slater’s career in real estate began in 1997, when he became a licensed REALTOR® working for a local homebuilder. By 2000, he was a managing broker of a private firm in the area, with expertise in new construction and development marketing. In 2003, he joined Real Estate III to focus on representing a major local homebuilder, several condominium projects, new construction sales, and development marketing. These specialties have provided him with experience in marketing, market analysis, sales training and recruiting, project management, mortgage financing, and negotiations.
Slater has also been involved with CAAR since the late 1990s and has been part of CAAR’s Board of Directors since 2001. In 2009, he was elected CAAR President Elect and will serve the association as President in 2010. Slater is a graduate of Virginia Tech, Class of '92 and lives in Albemarle County with his wife and son.
